    In the Star Wars series, how do you define a year? A year on Earth is one rotation of the sun, but people are traveling planet to planet, where the rotation of that planet is set. Please help with this.

    		In the movies, years are not measured. Although I'm sure that George Lucas has an idea of how long a Courisant year is which would logically be the basis for time in the Star Wars Universe as Earth is in the Star Trek Universe.
