Writer's block is a sudden or continued lack of abitlity to work with words or music. It is a malady that attacks all writers, poets, playwrites, composers and speakers from time to time. The causes of writer's block can be varied from either not having enough physical strength to do any serious thinking (from malnutrition or other things) to deep psychological ailments.

Writer's block is a phenomenon that hits writers from time to time in that they just feel that they can, psychologically, no longer write, and anything that they do they dismiss as rubbish.

It can happen to just one work that someone is writing. I started one story 20 years ago and got three paragraphs into it. I've written other things in between, and now finished that one. At last....

Writer's block is something that happens when trying to write but you don't seem to have any ideas or any thoughts as to what to write about or what will happen next.
