    What is the fastest serve in tennis? Please describe in both kph and mph.

    As of Sunday, 8 February, 2004 -- The fastest serve was 150.241.4 mph by Andy Roddick.

    Roddick was the joint holder of the previous record - 149.239.7mph - with Britain's Greg Rusedski.

    Andy Roddick has claimed the record for the world's fastest serve.
    The American was playing in the Davis Cup clash with Austria when he hit a serve timed at 150.241.4mph.
