As of 2006, none have so far if i'm right, Fernando Alonso won it last year but he was no rookie at that time. Lewis Hamilton is leading the race for the driver's championship at the moment, and if he wins he will become the first rookie to win since 2006

The only rookie to have won the formula one world championship is Emilio Giuseppe "Nino" Farina (October 30, 1906 - June 30, 1966) was an Italian racing driver. He stands out in the history of Grand Prix motor racing for his much copied 'straight-arm' driving style and his status as the first ever Formula One World Champion.
Having been the champion in the very first championship where ALL the drivers were rookies
