    Is the word 'Hogwarts' inspired by a flower?

    		This site says Rowling intimated it was based on the Hogwort plant (Croton Capitatus) she had seen at Kew.
    It is quite a way down.

    		Just as an aside my last name is Howard and although it's not certain the likeliest origin is hog-ward, the person who looks after the pigs. Maybe we're named after the flower instead!
