I seriously doubt that you'll get an accurate count due to lousy record keeping.
There are a couple of conflicting numbers in WIKI. This WIKI article states 22 survivors. Along the way I encountered many articles where government officials state they have found "another" survivor.
"Two More WWI Veterans Surface in France -- Francois Jaffre, 104, was thought to have died; in fact, he merely had moved to a retirement home west of Paris.
And Rene Riffaud, 107, can thank his granddaughter for his new inclusion in France's dwindling and revered club of surviving WWI veterans."
