    If a lamp states that you are to use an "A" light bulb, can you use an "A19"?

    Here is the deal with ANY lightbulb........

    If the base is the same and the wattage is within an acceptable range and it is for the same voltage, you CAN use it as a sub.

    An a-19 is a hybrid LED or a flashlight bulb or an arcade bulb or a.........

    Since you are CO, I will assume GREEN and LED.

    I do not find any "A" bulb that is at all like the "A 19".
