In the United States are TV ads for smokeless tobacco now illegal?

In April 1970, Congress passed the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act banning the advertising of cigarettes on television and radio starting on January 2, 1971. The Virginia Slims brand was in the last commercial shown. Smokeless tobacco ads, on the other hand, remained on the air until 1986.

I ask this because growing up I constantly remember seeing ads for Skoal and people in these ads talking about "just a pinch between my cheek and gum".
Today I watch very little TV (I'm on here all the time) and I can't recall seeing one of these ads in quite a while.

I too remember those "Just a Pinch...." Commercials! I also remember all the stories about Baseball Pitchers wrapping Tobacco in Gum!
