    		The Dixie Chicks are the highest-selling female band in any musical genre, having sold 36 million albums as of June 2006.

    		This site lists the Andrews Sisters in the 75-100 million region, Destiny's Child in the 50-75 million region, and the Dixie Chicks aren't mentioned (the cutoff point is 50 million.)

    WHO AM I... Born in the usa, one of two children whose father was an accomplished musician and producer. I grew up around music and could play the piano as a young teenager. My father recognised my singing talent and encouraged me to concentrate on singing. He sent a demo tape to the group I would eventually join. Liking what they heard they sent me a song to record for another demo (which would later be a #1 hit for us). Growing up, I was always a bit of a rebel which was evident recently when I made an outspoken political comment that caused a bit of a furore. Becoming an accomplished singer/songwriter and multi talented musician with this group, who have recorded numerous #1 singles and albums with sales in the millions....I AM?
