It's occurred to me that she was a fine illustration of an admiring French term that might be idiomatically translated as "attractively unattractive." What is that term?

    "Jolie-laide" is what I had in mind, zbeck. I own only one Philip Treacy hat, and you can't have it, but I might be able to locate a silver effigy of Diana Vreeland in my vault ....
