    What US state has the largest iron mining industry?

    		Whether this has anything to do with it I am not sure - though if you are interested in the iron industry, you may like this.

    		According to wikipedia, Minnesota and Michigan are the only states that mine magnetite iron ore. Given the size of the Iron Range in Minnesota, I'd say Minnesota has the largest iron mining industry, but I can't find a reference to show which one, between Minnesota and Michigan, have a larger iron mining industry.
