    Franklin W. Dixon is the pen name used by a variety of different authors who wrote The Hardy Boys novels (and its Casefiles spinoff) for the Stratemeyer Syndicate. This pseudonym was also used for the Ted Scott Flying Stories series.

    Leslie McFarlane — volumes 1–16 and 22–24
    Harriet Adams

    Casefiles authors:
    Larry Mike Garmon — volumes 27, 36, 39, 43, 46 and 126
    Ron Goulart — 23, 30 and 44
