"In addition to the 19 hijackers, 2,974 people died as an immediate result of the attacks, and the death of at least one person from lung disease was ruled by a medical examiner to be a result of exposure to WTC dust. Another 24 people are missing and presumed dead."

I know what you mean, but that's a very misleading question. I'm sure on the date 11th September 2001, many millions died, all over the world. From natural causes, acts of war, traffic accidents, murders, overdoses, etc. People die every day. September 11th 2001 is a date, not an event.

The above sounds harsh. I apologise. But there might be people who even use this site who have friends or relatives that died on that date, outside the events in New York and Washington. If you meant the acts of terrorism, please specify. I am sure that for some that date is a painful one, and not for the reason broadcast worldwide. My friend lost her mother, when she was 14, on the very day that Diana, Princess of Wales died. The UK remembers Diana every 31 August yet for her, it is her own mother she grieves for. So all I'm saying is a date can have a deep meaning for each individual, that's all.

Billy, at the risk of being rude, I'm going to tell you that I think your posts were utterly gratuitous and irrelevant.
The question was not "misleading". As you admitted, you knew exactly what was meant. We all did.
