    A TV movie about Thomas Edison

    "Jack refuses to quit. He wants to make movies and tries to convince Dickson to leave and work with him. Edison overhears them and accuses them of disloyalty. Dickson leaves. Edison pulls a father-son ploy on Jack, but Jack isn't buying it. After all, he says to the man who put his work ahead of everything, what do you know about fathers and sons?"

    Western movie question: Movie likely from the 70s, has the climax where a man/boy is racing through the desert to beat a shadow across a certain line to save a girl captured by Indians. He jumps across the line just as a girl, who is covered by a blanket, is being shot by an arrow and plunges off a cliff. He later finds out it was an Indian girl who stood in for her and they are reunited at the end of the movie. Could have been man/wife or brother/sister. Thanks for any help!
