And I hope it will be one that mentions which novels of Stephen King were inspired by Lear. I'm very curious.

I think there has been an error concerning Lear and King.
As wiki says....
Influences:
Robert Bloch, Ray Bradbury, William Golding, Shirley Jackson, Fritz Leiber, H.P. Lovecraft, Richard Matheson, John D. MacDonald, Edgar Allan Poe, J. R. R. Tolkien, Stanley G. Weinbaum, Robert Browning (Dark Tower Series), Daphne du Maurier (Bag of Bones), Alexandre Dumas, père (Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption).

Correct answer is Robert Browning:
John Lennon's song "Grow old with me," which was inspired by the Robert's poem Rabbi ben Ezra, appears on his album Milk and Honey.
Stephen King's Dark Tower series was inspired by Browning's poem Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came.
