Martha, per the site, was the first AMERICAN woman on a US postage stamp -- the first woman was Queen Isabella on several stamps for the Columbian Exposition in 1893.
The first woman on a stamp for one of the United States was on a Hawaiian stamp of 1886 depicting Princess Victoria Kamamalu (Scott number 30).
