    Can you cry under water?

    Not for long. You can cry anywhere, but if you're sobbing, you're inhaling. Don't try it.

    I'm not even going to bother to post a reference for this one. One shouldn't be needed.

    Of course one can lachrymate under water but already being wet sort of negates the sensation. NOTHING is different but the tears on the cheek factor.

    And yes drowning would tend to be the outcome of a sob-session!
