Several people who were feeling no pain reeled into an important European museum quite recently and left behind a damaged work of art when security alarms caused them to flee. What is the museum, what is the work of art, and can you find me a picture of it -- damage included?

Tears like this can be repaired. On the other hand, the conservators at a museum in Avignon have been stymied in their attempts to remove a lipstick stain from a Cy Twombly kissed by an overwhelmed art lover. No surprise -- I never do manage to get my lipstick out of my husband's shirts. ;-)
