What town outside of the English empire was named after Queen Victoria?

There are many, many places and towns named after Queen Victoria that are inside and outside the Commonwealth Realms. As far as I can see all of these places are in the UK or in the former colonies, Commonwealth members or not. I am looking for a country which never was a British colony, and it was never English speaking. The town was named for Queen Victoria, but soon changed name to its present. Oct 11 07, 2:58 PM
