    		Just to keep the record straight.
    The US beat the Soviet Union in a preliminary match
    They beat Finland in the Gold Medal match.

    		The US Hockey Team defeated Finland in the final match. The Soviet Union won the silver medal, but lost to the US in the semifinal.
