Sesshu Toyo was a Zen Buddhist Priest, however, I believe he was a painter and not necessarily a subject. I also find nothing that states he was not in his right mind.

What unusual means of transport is depicted by such painters as J.A.D.Ingres, Filippo Napoletano, Stefano della Bella and Eugene Delacroix - but not Arnold Böcklin - in their rendering of a scene from Ariosto's "Roland Enraged" in which an airborne knight rescues an angelic lady from the claws of a sea-monster?

In a 14-stage race there were 100 competitors, among them 'Crazy' Charlie. In all 14 stages 'Crazy' charlie finished in the same position: 93rd. However, at the end of the race, 'Crazy' Charlie was declared runner-up in the competition: his accumulated time was less that that of all the other competitors except one, the champion. Bearing in mind the fact that none of the 100 competitors withdrew from the race, how was it possible for 'Crazy' Charlie to finish second if he never even made it into the top 90 competitors?

What painters' movement was launched in 1948 by one Dane, two Belgians and three Dutchmen who referred to the names of their respective capital cities in the name they gave to that movement?
