Lots of people confuse "Stonewall" Jackson with Andrew Jackson, but I'm not sure why.

Andrew Jackson was the 7th US president (1829–1837), the last president to have been a veteran of the American Revolution, and served in the War of 1812. He died in 1845 at the age of 78. His nickname was "Old Hickory."

Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson died in 1863 after the Battle of Chancellorsville, having been accidentally shot by his own men. He was only 39.
