Yesterday, someone livened up the appearance of a virtually iconic work of art in a European city as a means of making a political statement. What happened, and can you find me a picture of the interesting results?

And you get a silver bucket, qp! What it contains is up to you.
I was actually rather enchanted by this event, given that it didn't cause any permanent damage to the fountain. I suspect that Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Nicola Salvi, theatrically-minded designers that they were, might have enjoyed it as well.

I'd like to see the Chicago River when it's running green!
An acquaintance of mine many years ago unintentionally ruined the cooling system of the motel her family stayed in when she and her twin playfully poured a bottle of Soaky bubble bath into what they thought was merely a decorative fountain in the courtyard.
Thanks for the bucket. It's full of political statements I'll spill only in proper places.

Years ago when Southport had a cascade built outside the Town Hall in the Town Hall Gardens, there were red faced at the big switch on. Someone had primed it with bubbly stuff..... (I still call it the Town Hall Gardens. officially it's now the Princess Diana gardens. I refuse to call it that.)
