Well, I tried John Tyler, that father of a multitude who had daughters die 100 yrs. apart from each other, but ran out of time. I pass the baton.

Wow! I wonder what's on TV Wed. night....over an hour without a post!
Here's Tyler's daughter, Pearl. She was born in 1860, so could have had a child at the turn of the century....who could have lived till the turn of the next century. I kinda doubt it, though.

You had the answer there QP, but let it slip away...
The 10th US President John Tyler, born back in 1790, was father of several children. One of the later ones he sired at the age of 63 in 1853 was Lyon Gardiner Tyler.
Lyon had a son at the ripe old age of 75 in 1928.
That son and John Tyler's grandson, named Harrison Ruffin Tyler, is still alive and on course for his 80th birthday next year.

Whether Harrison is still fathering children I don't know.
