    1. A granite sarcophagus

    2. A cypress coffin covered with gesso and overlaid with gold foil

    3. A magnificent coffin of unknown wood also covered with gesso and gold foil, then decorated with Egyptian cloisonne work

    4. The final casket of solid gold, over which had been poured a thick, black, pitch-like layer of fatty resinous perfume.
