    The founder of the publication 'All the World's Fighting Ships' and a former Daily Mirror strip cartoon character have the same name. What is it?

    		Jane. People sometimes wonder why a girl should be interested in Fighting Ships, but Jane there is a surname and the founder was John Jane (which must have confused people). They do info books on other things as well now, and are regarded as very accurate.
