How many of these spellings are acceptable orthographies in correct English: Speakers' Corner; Speaker's Corner; Speakers Corner?

    Question #89430. Asked by Flem-ish. (Dec 05 07 12:33 PM)

All are correct as possible place names. The first is a corner for more than one speaker; the second for one speaker, possibly that of the House of Commons; the third is correct in terms of usage as a road name or similar, as in St Helens (not St Helen's which is correct for a church), or Blindmans Lane.

If Speaker is a singular noun and you are expressing it as a possessive the punctuation Speaker's is correct. However, if Speaker is being stated as a plural possessive, then Speakers' is correct.
