    I remember "The Herbs" but the programme I need to know about had two characters called Fred and Bert along with an owl and other characters. It was definitely a British programme. Anyone remember it?

    		Could it have been Small Time? That featured Ollie Beak and Fred Barker. Bert Weedon was one of the presenters. Pussy Cat Willum was my personal favourite.
