These are dartboards: In some areas regional dartboards have survived, including the Manchester, Yorkshire, Black Irish, and Kent Doubles boards. Of these the most popular, although still rare, are the Manchester (or Lancashire) board and the Yorkshire board.

You may still find the odd survival of a plasticine board. The ones I've played on were Lancashire pattern, and you could only use light darts, as the heavy ones fell out. (I had to borrow darts, as my darrows are rather heavy.) They do have the advantage of not wearing out as quickly as fibre boards - when there are too many holes, you just smooth the board over again.
