    Feofanova sets world record in women's pole vault

    Dateline: BIRMINGHAM, England Svetlana Feofanova of Russia regained the world record in the women' s pole vault by clearing 4.80 meters (15 feet, 9 inches) at the World Indoor Championship on Sunday.

    She bettered the mark of 4.78 meters (15, 8 1/4) set by Stacy Dragila of the United States just two weeks ago.

    It was Feofanova in 2003, Isinbayeva has done it since then.
