Between the men's and women's slider teams, Canada took four of six medals in the World Cup event in Calgary recently. Michelle Kelly's gold was especially sweet. What happened last year that makes this win so special?

December 6, 2006 -- The result is doubly satisfying for Kelly after undergoing shoulder surgery over the summer. The injury capped a frustrating three-year period for Kelly, who went from being a World Cup champion in 2003 to missing out on qualifying for the Canadian Olympic team.
