What is a sty (stye) and how do you get rid of it?

Question #9021. Asked by cc. (Dec 20 00 11:24 PM)

    l3i7l

A sty is an infected eyelash follicle. They are definitely uncomfortable, and sometimes painful. Warm, wet compresses, as well as some antibacterial eye ointment from your doctor, should clear things up in a week or so.
