Jewish Christians (sometimes called also "Hebrew Christians" or "Christian Jews") is a term which can have two meanings, an historical one and a contemporary one. Both meanings are discussed on the following link:

Jewish can carry two meanings, one religious and one secular. If you have a Jewish father, you are technically Jewish no matter what religion you are brought up in or adopt. That is the secular meaning. On the other hand, if you follow the beliefs and rituals of the Jewish faith, you are counted as Jewish, no matter what your origins. That is the religious meaning. Thus, it is possible to be born of Jewish parentage (making you Jewish) and adopt Christianity (or Hinduism or Nevillism or whatever) and be both Jewish and Christian (or whatever).

"According to Jewish law (Halakha), only a convert or a child born to a Jewish mother is counted as Jewish."
But, "Other Jewish denominations, which do not accept Halakha, have adopted different standards. North American Reform Judaism and British Liberal Judaism accept the child of one Jewish parent (father or mother) as Jewish if the parents raise the child as a Jew."

A secular Jew can be of any, or no, religious persuasion.
Some Jewish converts to Christianity disassociate themselves from their Jewishness while others see themselves as "completed" or "Messianic" Jews.

Can the term not be Christian Jew?

The complication arises because. as far as I am aware, 'Jewish' is the only one that can be either refer to birth or belief. You can't be born a Christian or a Buddhist. Things likt that happen after birth.

I know Messianic Jews who insist that they are not Christian, they are Jews who consider Yeshua (Jesus) to be their Messiah. They celebrate all of the Jewish holidays and none of the Christian ones.

Yes. A Jewish Christian can be one of two things: 1. A Jew of the old Messianic sect of Jesus' first followers, or 2. A Jewish person who practices Judaism but still believes that Jesus is the expected Messiah - and practices some Christian customs.
