Do grammar schools exist in the United States, are they considered prestigious, and how many, if any, exist?

K-4 as well can be Grammar, Primary or Elementary. 5-8 can be "Middle" or "Intermediate" school. Then 9-12 "High" School Dec 29 07, 8:42 AM
