Today, except in Spain, he is totally forgotten. Do you know who he was?

    Ricardo Vines (1875-1943) After Vines died in 1943, his music collection--including manuscripts, autograph dedications, and inscriptions--was scattered by his family.

    He was gay, and in Spain in the 40's that was a crime. Maybe that explains his family trying to destroy everything he left and forget that he once existed.
