Clearly you've never met my former classmate Rafi Cohen - or as some of my friends still call him, "rocket" - but we've never tried putting him up against a cow. Seeing as the average cow weighs about 10-15 times as much as the average adult human, it would be safe to assume that the cow is usually that much more gasseous.

Probably the cow:
Although many argue that there are greater problems than cow belching, maybe it is time we take it a little more seriously. Cow belching is a serious threat to the environment and steps should be taken to reduce the amount of methane each belch produces. In the past couple of years, the EPA has conducted research on cow belching and the methane pollution created in the process. Livestock contributes to 15-20% of the methane.
To be taken with a grain of salt: A single cow (burping and farting) emits enough methane gas in a single day to fill 200 two-litre soda bottles.
