    		Good one, Baron, I have always loved this story...never sure if it was rock fact or rock myth - but who cares it is a good tale anyway!

    The singer was Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane.

    She invited the political activist Abbie Hoffman to be her escort, and planned to spike President Nixon's tea with LSD. The plan was thwarted when they were prevented from entering after being recognized by White House security personnel.

    (Though I can picture Tricky Dick as a dormouse!)
