Not in the same league as the National Enquirer, though, not by a long chalk. The Wikipedia article says his flat in Salford was raided in 2006 by police looking for a firearm, but not that they found one. http://www.apersonalguide.co.uk/soapbooks/corrie/terry-duckworth.htm says he was on police bail after they found one, but not what happened next.
