    		It appears to be a fairly "common" thing:

    Sam Addoms, the 62-year-old CEO who turned around Frontier Airlines.

    In 1997, he helped persuade David Bonderman, CEO of investment fund Texas Pacific Group--and who had previously turned around Continental Airlines Inc.--to become chairman of Ryanair.

    Under Gordon Bethune's leadership, Continental Airlines turned itself around to become one of the most respected and reliable airlines in the industry.
