    		January 21, 2008 -- Volleyball Canada confirmed Monday that it was forced to pull out of the 16-nation league because it lost $500,000 in funding from the Road to Excellence program, a partnership between the Canadian Olympic Committee and Sport Canada that helps sponsor national programs.
