    A very fine violinist borne in Rome in 1906, died in London in 1991. English citizen, he played many times for the troops during World War II. Son of a violinist, he began playing at a very young age. Made many tours all over the world. Left excellent recordings, including one considered one of the best of Mendelssohn's concerto ever made. Do you know who this famous Italian-English violinist was?
