    		Jeremy Wotherspoon of Red Deer, Alta., was second Sunday in the men's 500-metre event at the sprint speed skating world championships in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

    Mun Joon of South Korea was third in the 500 and 1,000 to take third in the overall standings.
