    The 'Here Comes The Bride' wedding march is by Richard Wagner, from the opera Lohengrin. There are other wedding marches by Bach, Mendelssohn and Handel.

    The Lohengrin music is actually a processional. The actual march most commonly played at weddings when the married couple leave the altar is from Felix Mendelssohn's incidental music to 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.
