    Which DC character was created as a homage to "Apache Chief" from the Super Friends, Challenge of the Super Friends cartoon shows?

    		The Global Guardians is a team of fictional DC Comics superheroes whose members hail from countries around the world. The concept originated in the Super Friends Saturday morning cartoon, in which several heroes (Black Vulcan, Samurai, Apache Chief and El Dorado) were added to the Justice League to give it more ethnic diversity.


    Of these characters, only Samurai and Apache Chief have appeared in a DC Comics print publications; Samurai appeared in a greatly altered form in the "hero spread" of Kingdom Come, and an homage to Apache Chief named Manitou Raven who appeared in the JLA series and subsequently in JLElite.
