American violinist of Russian parents (1902-1975), one of the last of Auer's pupils, very active playing in the 30s and 40s. He gave many recitals with his wife Sylvia Smith at the piano. Few recordings, one of them with sort of "gipsy" music is anthological. He's forgotten now. Can you name him?
