James VI and I. His mother was Mary QoS, beheaded by order of her cousin Elizabeth I, and his younger son Charles I (and I) was beheaded by order of the Parliamentarian Court of Justice. Actually, there can't be many other cases where both a man and his grandmother have been judicially beheaded. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_I_of_England
