This mutant still has these powers. He/She swore an oath to themselves never to use those powers again. Jean Grey no longer is possessed by the Phoenix unless Marvel has decided to screw up the universe again. Correct. The cover shows forge on a hill with dead viet-cong all around him. His use of the magic released the adversary which would cause problems later. Mar 16 08, 10:12 PM
