Although known more for my mutant powers, I have other powers which I have used to kill. After doing so, I vowed never to use them again. I am featured on a powerful 70's comic cover which shows the aftermath of my non-mutant power. Which Marvel Comic character am I?

Jean Grey, aka Marvel Girl, a mutant with telepathic/telekinetic powers who possessed/was possessed by the Phoenix Force, which has killed entire planets.

This mutant still has these powers. He/She swore an oath to themselves never to use those powers again. Jean Grey no longer is possessed by the Phoenix unless Marvel has decided to screw up the universe again. Here's a clue, the cover I'm talking about contained a one shot story-line that explains the whole story. A second clue is that they used these powers in revenge.

Correct. The cover shows forge on a hill with dead viet-cong all around him. His use of the magic released the adversary which would cause problems later.

On the many incarnations of the Super Friends cartoons of the 70's and early 80's, several characters were introduced who did not appear in the comic book universe. Among the super heros that were introduced was El Diablo. What exactly was his special power or powers? I've seen him pictured during the opening credits but never saw him in an episode.
