Who was the youngest child actor or actress to win an Oscar?

Question #93085. Asked by JennySmall. (Mar 03 08 6:34 AM)

The youngest was technically Shirley Temple (age 5) in 1934. Her Oscar was honorary, however. Tatum O'Neal won the Oscar for Paper Moon at the age of 10, and is considered the youngest Oscar winner. Jackie Cooper was nominated, but did not win.
