The biological machinery of the plant cell works to absorb light energy (using chorophyll to absorb the light) and use that energy to perform a series of biochemical reactions. The end products of these reactions are Glucose (a simple sugar) and Oxygen (which the plants release into the air via transpiration).

It should be well-known that photosynthesis is the process through which plants use the energy of sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into high-energy carbohydrates- sugars and starches- and oxygen, a waste product. Do you know a little more?
This is stuff we all got tested on in school. Until I made this quiz I never had reason to use this knowledge in my day-to-day life. (Don't tell my kids please.)
