    Can an American fly from the US straight to Cuba, and if not, how would he or she go there?

    A private Lear Jet has a range of over 4,500 km.

    Therefore an American with a Lear Jet could fly direct from the US to Cuba.

    		There are no direct scheduled commercial flights to Cuba.

    A license is required for an American citizen to travel to Cuba whether that is by air or by sea. That license will not be granted for tourist purposes.

    		Yeah, that's my question. How would a tourist without a private jet holiday in Cuba? Fly across the Atlantic to London, to get a flight back across the Atlantic to Cuba? Any easier way?
